Talking to TV KCN1, assistant Mayor of Belgrade Andreja Mladenović said that one of the key moves of the municipality is the construction of a tunnel from the Faculty of Economics to Stefan Lazarevic Street which will relieve the city center by about 14 percent.

The mayor also said subway construction will start in November. The first line will be from Makiš to Mirijevo, around 21 kilometers long and will have 21 stations. The second line will be from New Belgrade to Voždova.
