I am working as Professor and Head of Tunnel Engineering Program. I was instrumental in curriculum development and starting M.Tech. (Tunnel Engineering) program at MIT World Peace University, Pune, India. This is the unique post graduate program in Tunnel Engineering in India, consisting of two months internship and good blend of teachers from academics and tunneling industry.

More than 25 Research Papers are published in national and international journals. Eight Research papers have been selected for presentation in World Tunnel Congress 2020 (WTC-2020), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I am active member of  International Tunneling Association's Committee for Education and Training (ITA-CET). I am recipient of ‘Best Innovative Teacher Award’ by Pune University. I am also recipient of 'IUCEE Faculty Fellow Award' by Indo Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE).

I organize annual two day workshop on tunneling at MIT-World Peace University, Kothrud, Pune in association with Tunneling Association of India (TAI) and Tunneling Association of India Young Members (TAIym).

My dream is to develop state of art ‘MIT WPU Research and Training Center for Tunneling and Underground Construction’
