Zakaria is an engineering geologist with over 10 years’ experience in tunneling and engineering geology, rock engineering, tunnel assessments, natural terrain hazard assessments, landslide assessments, slope stability assessment, earthwork asset management and remedial works design (both rock and soil), ground investigation and railway/highway geotechnical tests. Zakaria has great experience especially in tunneling. Zakaria’ skills include: proficiency of all tasks of NATM Tunneling, geological mapping; development of geological models; soil and rock description; ground investigation, in-situ testing and monitoring; rock mass assessment (including Q, RMR, GSI); inspection of tunnels; assessment of soil and rock stability (slopes, excavations and underground space).
