Completion of the railway tunnel under Łódź is now officially by a year. Original completion date was December 2021. It has been delayed to "sometime in" in 2022 with no specific quarter information...

Work for Łódź cross-city tunnel ran into delay after Energopol Szczecin which is one of the consortium members ran into serious problems in July 2019. Work delayed while consortium dealt with finding a new leader. Though  PKP PLK and consortium PBDiM Mińsk Mazowiecki Mariusz Serżysko had give some "hope" at the time that the original schedule would be kept, though nobody really expected that. Especially when coronavirus pandemic came on top of it.

With the lines of Dziennik Łódźki, "May the work progress so that at least this deadline is met"...
