Tender for İzmir's Üçyol - Buca subway project is announced. İzmir is the 3rd largest city in Türkiye. It is 13,5 kilometers deep tunnel with 11 stations.
The line starts at Üçyol close to Ege sea shore and goes inland via stations of Zafertepe, Bozyaka, General Asım Gündüz, Şirinyer, Buca Belediyesi, Kasaplar Alanı, Hasanağa, Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi, Buca Koop and Çamlıkule.

GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) (“the Employer”) intends using the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“the Bank”) for the project of Izmir Light Rail System – Ucyol – Buca (Izmir Metro project III). The project will consist of civil works for extension of metro line by 13.5 kilometers from Ucyol to Buca districts, construction of 11 underground stations, depot area and workshop building and 6 kilometers connection tunnel between main line and depot area. The contract will include excavation works, concrete works, and electromechanical installations.
The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of EUR 754.5 million equivalent, will require the procurement of the following components:
The procurement process for component no. 1 is planned to be initiated during 1st Qtr of 2020, component no. 3 by 3rd Qtr of 2020 and the CDP Consultant (component no. 2) by 1st Qtr of 2021. Contracts to be financed, in part or in whole, with the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank will be subject to the Bank’s Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open to firms from any country.

The proceeds of the Bank's loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Purchaser's country.
