Ivan Tunnel excavation soon will start. Tunnel is part of A1 motorway between Tarčin-Konjic.

It is double tube tunnel with 1700 km long. Bosnian company Euro-Asfalt is building tunnel. Cost 57.6 million euro and 50 million come as credit from European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Also 11.4 million euro gave European Union.

Euro-Asfalt has wide experience in tunnel works. For Ivan Tunnel, NATM (New Austrian Tunneling Method) method to be used.
