Some say, Britain is missing out by opting for HS2 over hyperloop

    As Prime Minister Boris Johnson approves the High Speed 2 project, there many opinions about it. Some say it is waste of money and even go to extremes for labeling it as a project to benefit the elite (anti EU Nigel Mansell of Brexit Party is one). Some say it is a revolution which will take Britain to the future (by 'future' they mean where Germany, Spain and France are today).

    Then you've got the Hyperloopers. They say by opting on the high speed rail based option, Britain is investing in the technology designed 30 years ago which will be fully operational only in 2040 when -they say- hyperloop will be the norm.
