Tender starts for the 1,820 meter long road tunnel which will be built under the Chancay district, linking the Port Operational Zone (ZOP) and the entrance complex to the Multipurpose Terminal.

Cosco Shipping Ports Chancay Peru will award the contract in July and tunnel construction together with the connecting roads will cost about US$121m.
