Xinhuanet reporter reports China Railway Fifth Bureau Guizhou Company finished excavation of Huali Tunnel right tube on June 15 2020. Excavation finished 75 days ahead of time. Right tube is 2203 meters long. Only 100 meters remain for left tunnel which is 2195 meter.  Huali Tunnel is important for two-way 4-lane Wengkai Expressway project.

Wukai Expressway of China Railway Fifth Bureau say it is very difficult excavation, Rock is weak. There are two fault fracture zones in the route and also an underground river. This is important for all difficulties 75 days ahead of time.
