You will be part of a dynamic team, working together within multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the development of the business and its members.

• A seasoned project manager with in depth experience related to tunnel design from concept to construction phases.
• Both hard and soft ground experience is a prerequisite, cover drill & blast techniques, support by way of rock bolting/sprayed concrete lining.
• Able to lead a team in designing segmental tunnel linings taking into consideration ground loading and tunnelling thrust pressures.
• Needs to be a team player capable of working closely with the contractor to provide value engineering designs.

• A Bachelors degree in civil, geotechnical or mining engineering
• Either a Singapore PE or Chartered Engineer
• Specialised in the design of underground constructions and geotechnical structures, especially tunnels, cross passages, adits, shafts, caverns and portals.
• Experienced in all aspects and phases of major underground infrastructure projects starting from proposals, contracts and budgets to the actual project management including geotechnical investigations and interpretation, construction methodology and site consultancy.
• Competent in different construction and excavation methods like conventional and mechanised excavation in various ground conditions including hard rock, soft ground of mixed face conditions from shallow to deep overburden.
• Knowledgeable in a multitude of design approaches including geotechnical calculations, numerical modelling, structural analysis, computer aided design for various structures like sprayed concrete lining, precast concrete lining or in-situ concrete lining, diaphragm walls, bored piles, soil anchors or rock bolts.
• Experienced in using digital design software and electronic document management platforms.
