The length of the Siddhababa Tunnel will be 1,126 kilometers. It will be completed within three years. Work will follow the Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) model. It will be in Siddhababa area of the Butwal-Tansen road section along the Sidhhartha Highway.

The ceiling amount for the construction of the tunnel is Rs 10.15 billion (around US$85 million). Tender winner is expected to bid lower. The tunnel will have 8.5 metres of width and double lanes with a sidewalk.
