Six Companies submit bids for better lighting in five tunnels on Norway's national road 13

    Norway Public Roads Administration (Statens vegvesen) announces that 6 companies have submitted bids for the job:

    Better light in five tunnels on national road 13, six companies will do the job

    The five tunnels are located in a row Suldal municipality - on a 15 kilometer long stretch, in order from the outermost to the inst along Suldalsvatnet:

    Suldalsporten (733 meters) will get 34 new luminaires, Vågstunnelen (837 meters) will get 39, Mokleivåsen (449 meters) 24, Vikatunnelen (1188 meters) 53 and Falkalitunnelen (1202 meters) will get 53 new luminaires.

    - Now we will ensure the quality and control the offer, and aim to sign a contract with the new contractor as soon as possible, says construction owner Einar Stange in the Norwegian Public Roads Administration.

    The job must be completed before the end of the year.

    Six companies have submitted offers for the job, and Roxel Infra AS from Stavanger is the lowest.
