Team lead - tunnel inspector/engineer
Job Description
Mott MacDonald is seeking professionals to join our ever-expanding tunnel team. We are currently looking for versatile civil engineers in NY/NJ to serve as Tunnel Inspectors and Team Leaders with experience in tunnel condition surveys, underground facility inspections tunnel and underground structures design. The candidates will be members of the tunnel team.
In addition to conducting condition surveys and underground inspections, responsibilities will include design and analysis of tunnels and underground structures.

The successful candidate is required to have an understanding of concrete, steel and foundation design.
Conducted condition surveys and prepared findings reports within the NY/NJ area for public transportation agencies.
NTIS certified. Team Leaders NY/NJ PE required.
Candidate Specification
The successful candidate will have a proven and verifiable track record performing condition surveys and inspections in tunnels and underground structures.
​Additional qualifications and responsibilities include:
BS Civil Engineering
NY/NJ PE required for Team Leader
NTIS Certified a plus
Must be willing to work weekends and/or weeknights as necessary.
2-8 year’s of inspection experience
Must be client service focused, embrace a safety culture, be a team player, and communicate well.
