German company Herrenknecht has completed factory tests of Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) Shakti, according to Metro Rail News. The 9.1metre diameter hard rock Herrenknecht TBM of model S1310 is one of TBMs to bore 10317 metres of total 13123 metre long tunnels for RVNL's new Rishikesh-Karnaprayag railway line project.
