One of the 21 teams participating in Elon Musk's SpaceX hyperloop pod competition is illini Hyperloop, a part of the Midwest Hyperloop coalition that consists of teams from Illinois, Purdue University, and the University of Cincinnati. Each team has its own individual expertise, and they all complement one another to build a single vehicle.
