2TDK, the state-owned investor and concession holder of the Divača - Koper 2nd track have rejected the only offer for the "Railway and tunnel systems on the second track Divača - Koper".

A consortium of Slovenian companies ŽELEZNIŠKO GRADBENO PODJETJE LJUBLJANA, KOLEKTOR KOLING and the Turkish company of YAPI MERKEZI had placed an offer with the amount of EUR 198.536.776,64 without VAT.

2TDK statement published on 20 April says:

The Management Board of 2TDK adopted a resolution that the public procurement "Railway and tunnel systems on the second track Divača-Koper" ends with the non-award of the contract, with which the Supervisory Board of 2TDK also agreed today.

By the deadline for submission of bids, which was 4 April 2022, the bid of JV SŽ - ŽELEZNIŠKO GRADBENO PODJETJE LJUBLJANA d.d., KOLEKTOR KOLING Inženiring, instalacije, proizvodnja d.o.o. and YM CONSTRUCTION, construction and services, d.o.o. in the amount of EUR 198,536,776.64 without VAT.

The limited value of the contract amounted to EUR 142,200,000.00 excluding VAT.
