The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Geotechnical engineering associated with the trenchless design and construction of municipal water and wastewater conveyance facilities
Prepare documentation for design projects and reports
Prepare construction cost estimates
Preparation of project specifications and contract documents
Perform constructability reviews
Perform construction inspections
Carry out numerical/analytical analyses and design calculations for underground structures.
Prepare and review design drawings.
Review and evaluate contractor submittals
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Geological Engineering or related field + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency and/or education
Experience with tunnel/trenchless projects and construction inspection
Preferred Qualifications :
Relevant experience in North America
Eligible for registration as a P.Eng with EGBC
Training and experience in project management
Experience in proposal writing and job scoping
Excellent written skills needed for technical reports
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Valid BC Class V Driver's License
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors and clients
Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary environment
