The candidate shall have experience and technical expertise to manage the entire tunneling operations including for TBM tunneling and New Austrian Tunneling Method (NATM), Drill and Blast Tunnel, etc. 

He shall be able to manage the entire value chain including material management, design coordination, equipment management, labor management. He shall have experience managing tunneling team of staff and departmental workmen. He shall have managed subcontractors both on back to back basis as well as on piece rate basis. He shall be conversant with design aspects and shall be able to check and suggest feasibility of design solutions. He shall be able to prepare, check and edit detailed method statements for carrying out the works as per the Contractual requirements. 

He shall have good people management skills, particularly with regards to customer, and shall be able to obtain requisite customer certifications on all categories of documents, including RFI, bills, method statements, etc.
