Job Description

• Produce the tunnel design (both bored tunnel and mined tunnel) from concept to detail design.

• Responsible for the preparation of design calculations, drawings for the design projects under supervision of senior engineers/ managers.

• Reporting to line manager and ensure regular progress update to line manager / senior engineers / project managers.

• Work under the supervision of senior engineers / supervisor and perform work task assigned.

• Participate in the progress meetings and workshops for design projects, with other disciplines

• Maintain proper records of all issued & received documents and reports.

• Support Project Team for Presentations and related activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 5 years design experience in infrastructure projects, preferably structural design experience in tunnel (Segmental tunnel lining and mined tunnel)

• Candidates with experience in metro and railways will be an added advantage.

• Understand design theory with strong academic background.

• Excellent attitude at work, and eager to learn.

• Team player and able to work independent with minimal supervision.

• Interested to work in projects at different region.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Excellent technical writing skills.

• Computational software skills will be essential.

• Graduate member of professional institute.
