LAHORE: Planning Commission’s Central Development Working Party (CDWP) has approved Water and Sanitation Agency’s (Wasa) tunnel boring project to handle rainwater and drainage issues. The project will be completed with an estimated cost of Rs 14 billion.Also suggested other provinces to introduce the same technology to handle rainwater and drainage issues.

For tunnelling micro tunnel boring machines (TBM) will be used.
