China: CSCEC-built Shizimen Tunnel in Zhuhai opened to traffic

    The Shizimen Tunnel in Zhuhai, boasting the largest cross-sea shield tunnel in the China constructed by China State Construction (CSCEC), was opened to traffic.

    The tunnel features a single-hole and four-lane design with a total length of 1,905 meters for the left hole and 2,657 meters for the right hole.

    The project has secured 21 authorized patents and 4 engineering methodologies, while also contributing 9 published research papers. It has garnered numerous accolades, including the esteemed International BIM Awards of IDTM·bSHK.
