Project management and detailed design of geotechnical and tunnel aspects of infrastructure and building works.
With full supports of our local and global senior expertise, you will be able to develop practical and innovative engineering solutions to address all geotechnical-related issues. You will also be responsible to coach and give directions to junior engineers working with you.
Familiar of geotechnical design works as required using suites of appropriate software, including numerical analysis, for inclusions in report and drawings.
Attend design meetings, site meetings and all other project related meetings.
Developing your knowledge by stages and be responsible for project budgeting and control, finance management and project performance, etc.
Participate in technical bids, proposals and tender submissions, to identify winning strategy under close supervision from our senior members.
Develop client relationship and attend business related functions as required.
Suitable candidates will be involved in Geotechnical / Tunnel team for various government consultancy agreement (FS, ID&C) and design and build projects (detailed design), including civil, transport, site formation and slope works, geotechnical assessment, ELS design, subway and cut-and-cover construction, TBM and cavern engineering, etc.
What You'll Need
Degree holder in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent
Corporate membership of HKIE or equivalent for Chartered Engineer or above. Holder of MHKIE (Geotechnical) is definitely advantageous.
Relevant design and project management experience in geotechnical/ site formation/ tunnel engineering in Consultant and/or Contractor
Good interpersonal and presentation skills
Proactive, energetic, quality oriented and have a high sense of accountability
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
