The Project

The CPB Contractors, Ghella & UGL joint venture has been successful in securing the contract to deliver the $3.1bn M6 Stage 1 project.  The project will deliver the missing link from Sydney’s south to the wider Sydney motorway network making journeys easier, faster and safer. It will remove more than 2,000 trucks a day from surface roads and help return local streets to local communities.

With works commenced in early 2022, the M6 Stage 1 project scope includes the construction of twin four-kilometre tunnels and associated works, linking the M8 Motorway at Arncliffe to President Avenue at Kogarah.

The Opportunity

The M6 Stage 1 project has exciting opportunies for experienced

• Shotcreters;
• Rock Bolters;
• Jumbo Operators.

About You

• Experience working as a Shotcreter, Rock Bolter or Jumbo Operator on major infrastructure construction projects or mining.
• Experience working in underground environments and with tunnelling plant and equipment is an added advantage.
• Relevant qualifications.
• The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
