The National Railroad Corporation celebrated the construction of the shield TBM* of the Pyeongtaek -Osong 2 double -track construction project and held a oscillation ceremony to pray for the unleashed and without accident of the railroad construction site.
The event was attended by more than 50 officials from Lee Sung -hae, President of the Corporation, Lee Jong -yoon, President of Lee Jong -yoon, and SK Eco Plant, Kim Jung -hoon.
Pyeongtaek -Osong 2 double -tracking is a project for expanding the track capacity (190 → 372 times) between Pyeongtaek -Osong 46.95km, which is saturated by the Gyeongbu Express Line and Suseo Pyeongtaek Express Line. It aims to open the year at the end of the year.
The shield TBM equipment in Pyeongtaek -Osong is about 11m in diameter, which is the third largest equipment in Korea, and the dragon and tunnel up and down 3.6km each will be excited by 7.2km in parallel.
