In October, concreting the last segment of the vault of the main lining will be finished in the tunnel leading towards Żywiec, located closer to Zwardoń. At the same time, construction of the main lining in the tunnels on the S1 expressway under construction between Przybędza and Milówka is finishing.
In the tunnel located closer to Żywiec (TD1), excavated in the Barania massif, with a length of approx. 830 m, construction of the main lining finished in May this year, and laying the concrete surface in August. Installations related to safety and traffic monitoring are already underway in both naves. Soon will complete the construction and securing of the southern portal of the tunnel. Securing the northern portal is halfway through. To complete the main casing of the tunnels located closer to Zwardoń (TD2), excavated in the Białożyński Groń massif, with a length of approx. 1,000 m, there are four segments left (totalling approx. 48 m) in the nave leading the roadway towards Żywiec. In the tunnel nave towards Zwardoń, finished the concreting the vault in September. Laying the surface structure in this nave in December this year will finish. For the tunnel in the opposite direction - towards Żywiec - the completion of laying the roadway structure should take place at the beginning of next year.
