Minister of Transport, Sorin Grindeanu announced the twin tube (one 1780 and other 1778m) Poiana tunnel, on Sibiu-Pitesti Highway has been issued the permit to start construction. Contractor is a joint venture of Italian Webuild and Romanian Tancrad companies.
