Statens vegvesen (The Norwegian Public Roads Administration) development sends 28 contracts in the market in 2025. On Tuesday, the contracts were presented during the market day. About 300 audience members followed the entire part of the event that took place at Teams.
- There will be a lot to do for the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, contractors and advisors in 2025 as well, summarized development director Kjell Inge Davik.
The development division in the Roads Administration will turn over NOK 22 billion in 2025, compared to NOK 17.3 billion the previous year.
National Transport Plan (NTP)
Davik also repeated what is inside NTP in the period 2025-2030 and 2031-2036. Department director in contract and market, John Atle Haugland, talked about what manages the marketing strategy of the Roads Administration. Together, they also emphasized the work the Roads Administration does to prevent social dumping in the projects of the Roads Administration.
Three billion contracts
Project directors Ingunn Foss, Ove Nesje, Kjartan Hove and Stein Johnny Johansen presented a total of 28 contracts to go out in the market. Three of them are larger than one billion kroner: Rogfast-Electro, joint project Arna Stanghelle (advice) and the upgrade of the Lærdal tunnel.
There are 11 competitions in the west, ten in the north, five in the southeast and two in the middle.
Four of the contracts are total contracts. The rest are unit price contracts.
Climate and environment
Haugland emphasized that climate and the environment will weigh heavier in the coming year. - We want to set climate and environmental requirements in all contracts. In some, climate and the environment will be weighted up to 30 percent, Haugland said.
