According to Herrenknecht website, Two TBMs in Germany are getting ready to be shipped to Canada to bore the 15.6 km long Ontario Line in Toronto with 15 new stations. The project is built by Ontario Transit Group (OTG), the JV between Ferrovial and Vinci (via subsidiary JANIN ATLAS).

The Earth Pressure Balance Tunel Boring Machines have an excavation diameter of  6,870 mm with Cutterhead drive power of 1,280kW and torque of 6,925kNm.
