British Tunnelling Society (BTS) has started the process to update the 'Specification for Tunnelling'. The last time it was updated was in 2010.

BTS has said the aim was to incorporate technical changes that have occurred since the 3rd Edition was published by the BTS and Institution of Civil Engineers in 2010.

BTS has set up a blog to publish each proposed clause for the spec and then ask for comments from the public. Comments must be given with actual names of the commenters, otherwise they will be ignored. So no anonomous comments folks!
