Because probably the Chinese will buy Herre...- The machine is Herrenknecht. But anybody know what Disc cutters they used? Also Herrenknecht?

Maybe the disc cutters were not Herrenknecht. You know how it works. First x meters you use disc cutters of the TBM manufacturer. So maybe first x meter they used Herre...- In this country, we have The Robbins Company which has virtually invented the TBM tunneling. I don't know why we have to import TBM from Germany and Japan for our projects? What was the last time Germans and Japanese imported a Robbins?
You might also try getting some research grants from UK government, Or from European Union. A colleague of mine from Germany applied and got partial funding from a European research fund. It requires you to find partners in other countries and academia though.- Hi Lutz. You are confusing CityRailLink with the CentralInterceptor project. The former is 12 meter transport tunnel whereas the latter is a 5.45m waste water tunnel. In any case, knowing your preferences, you will be glad to hear that it is 2-0 for Herrenknecht.

Come on Lutz. They are not all of Chinese TBMs. As a matter of fact, the first image in slider is of Herrenknecht (purple and red TBMs). There are also a couple of Robbins TBMs.
