                  In this country, we have The Robbins Company which has virtually invented the TBM tunneling. I don't know why we have to import TBM from Germany and Japan for our projects? What was the last time Germans and Japanese imported a Robbins?

                    You might also try getting some research grants from UK government, Or from European Union. A colleague of mine from Germany applied and got partial funding from a European research fund. It requires you to find partners in other countries and academia though.

                      Hi Lutz. You are confusing CityRailLink with the CentralInterceptor project. The former is 12 meter transport tunnel whereas the latter is a 5.45m waste water tunnel. In any case, knowing your preferences, you will be glad to hear that it is 2-0 for Herrenknecht.

                        Come on Lutz. They are not all of Chinese TBMs. As a matter of fact, the first image in slider is of Herrenknecht (purple and red TBMs). There are also a couple of Robbins TBMs.
