China’s Slurry Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) is being transported to Bangladesh as part of the Karnaphuli river tunnel project which is being constructed by China Communications Construction. The diameter of the TBM is 12.12 meters, length is 94 meters and it weighs more than 2,200 tons. It is the first TBM made by China to be used overseas. The whole dismantling process before the machine is transported is about to be unveiled.
