Las Vegas approves contract with Elon Musk's 'The Boring Company'
Las Vegas finally decides that Elon Musk's The Boring Company is capable of building the 1,6 kilometer long tunnel for the Las Vegas Convention Center. The project is remarkable in the sense that it is build to carry passengers in autonomous electric vehicles in the tunnel.
Earlier there was opposition to The Boring Company as some people doubted the capability of Elon Musk's startup delivering such a project.
The Boring Company bid $48,675,000 for the project, an amount remarkably lower than the competition, an Austrian company.

Many believe the convention center project is only the beginning for The Boring Company in Las Vegas, some even seeing a day when more tubes are connecting other locations along the resort corridor.
