It is gonna be a short tunnel. Only 1.6 miles long. In the morning, Capital Metro will officially present the plan to Austin City Council.
It is part of Capital Metro's plans to reduce the congestion on Austin's roads. Other than the 1.6 miles underground, the rest of the so-called `Project Connect` will be overground line.

I know there are always people who oppose things. Yet I fail to understand why someone would oppose Project Connect for Austin. Their argument "light rail is a very expensive way to move very few people” is not convincing for me.
