Nuttall and Ferrovial to replace Carillion in the original consortium of  Carillion, Kier and Eiffage for C2 and C3 contracts. Carillion, once the second-largest construction company in UK had gone bankrupt in 2018. According to EU procurement laws, governments can assign replacement companies in insolvency cases, without having to go for new tenders.
