Michigan Governor wants answers from Enbridge on pipeline damage
On Friday, Michigan Governor Whitmer asked Enbridge Energto y provide proof that the damaged oil pipeline (one of the two) under the Straits of Mackinac will not pose a threat.
The Michigan Public Service Commission will hold an electronic public hearing on Aug. 24 to take input on Enbridge Energy LP’s request for its plans to relocate a segment of the Line 5 pipeline to a tunnel beneath the Straits of Mackinac.
