Bosnia: Construction of Hranjen Tunnel goes per plans
The Hranjen tunnel between Gorazde-Sarajevo is commissioned by Public Enterprise Motorways of FBiH to decrease the distance between two cities from current 95.6 kilometers to 56 kilometers.
Tunnel length is 5,8 kilometer. The contractor is Bosnian construction company Euro-Asfalt. The contract is worth 82 million BAM. This amount is only for breakthrough of the tunnel and installation of the supporting facilities. The total estimated cost of tunnel is 190 million BAM.

Progress made in Hranjen tunnel with 570 meters of the south sode and 410 meters on the Northside for the main tunnel and also 600 meter both sides for service tunnel.
When finished travel time between Sarajevo and Goradze will decrease from the current 95.6 kilometers to 56 kilometers.
