Metro Vancouver has achieved carbon neutrality with its 2019 operations
The regional district of Metro Vancouver says it has achieved corporate carbon neutrality with its 2019 operations. Meaning that its carbon output is equal to its removal from the atmosphere.
Among other things, Metro Vancouver did this via trenchless tunnel construction.
Though regional achievement is still 30 years away.
