İzmir is the pearl of the Aegean and Mediterranean. Now İzmir metro extend from Fahrettin Altay alanı (square) to Narlıdere.

Turkish newspaper report newly elected social democrat (CHP) mayor Tunç Soyer visit tunnel site. Contractor and mayor report that Narlıdere subway construction is on track and it will complete in 2022. Construction stated in 2019.

Fahrettin Altay Alanı - Narlıdere line is 7,2 Km long and it follow shoreline by the sea. When this line completes, İzmir's rail-based transport system will reach length of 182,5 kilometer.

Narlıdere metro is built by Gülermak. This contractor is known as top company.
