CREG make best tunnel boring machines. I don't know why CREG don't sell 'n Arabic countries. Maybe in Lebanon but not in other countries.

Even if they produce 5000th, India will not buy any more any Chinese TBM.

If I read this in January 2020, I would say "another bad news for Herrenknecht".

Now, I am not sure about it anymore. Covid-19 made nations rethink their supply chains. Local suppliers are in favour again. Who would guess?

Europeans increasingly buy Chinese TBMs. We don't buy Robins or Akkerman but buy Herrenknecht. Chinese are clever. They always buy Chinese if there is a TBM made in China fit for the project. Hence we read the success story of CREG.
