Rhode Island's Coastal Resources Management Council (CRMC) goes ahead with the Pawtucket Tunnel project for storm water and sewage.
It has already been decided that the tunnel system would be built by the CBNA consortium of Bouygues Construction, Barletta Engineering/Heavy Division and AECOM. There area few issues like dumping place for the excavated material after which the construction to start.
The 3.5km long, 9m diameter combined sewer overflow tunnel is the third phase of work to improve water quality in the Narragansett Bay in the Rhode Island
