Xinhua net inform Jinan second under Yellow River tunnel announced on November 25. Jinan Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment approved the Environmental Impact Report Form of the Huangtian Avenue Crossing Yellow Tunnel Project (Phase I) come.

New Huangtian road tunnel 3648 meter. Ground road 81 meter. Tunnel 3567 meter. 2920 meter with TBM boring. Two floor tunnel. Diameter 14.5 meter.

Huangtian cost 5.1 billion yuan. Built period 48 month.

Comparison new Huangtian Avenue Crossing Yellow Tunnel Project with Jiluo Road Crossing Yellow Tunnel Project (now already in construction).

Long -----   Huangtian = 3648 meter   Jiluo= 4760 meter

Tunnel ---- Huangtian = 97%   Jiluo= 81.2%

TBM Boring ---- Huangtian = 80%   Jiluo= 52.9%

Diameter ---- Huangtian = 14.5meter   Jiluo= 15.2 meter

Huangtian is complex than Jiluo crossing. Huangtian 1112 meter short but cost is only 37.18 million yuan less. Huangtian go through Gouyang drinking water source protection area and the ecological protection red line area. Therefore more TBM tunnel.
