Job Description
Our client, a well known A1 Main Contractor in the construction industry is looking for candidates for the roles of Tunnel Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Control of work quality, safety standards, construction methods in a design and built tunneling project as a part of Managers representative team.
- Review of design and construction methodology from construction perspective.
- Monitoring the progress of the project strictly following the permissible time parameters.
- Planning of the work and monitoring, Supervising and coordinating with client and sub-contractor.
- Monitor and ensure Inspection and Testing Plans (ITPs) to see if all the hold, approval and witness points are included
- Initiate non-conformance notice for quality related deficiencies, and monitor the non-conformances raised Monitor corrective actions and close-out.
- Prepare daily, weekly & monthly work schedule and reports.
Requirements:
- Diploma, Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent discipline
- Open to travel around Singapore to accessible work locations
- Experience in handling bored tunnelling projects
