Belgrade is a rare European capital without a subway system. It is the biggest capital definitely. There is plan for subway system for decades. Finally plans become real.

Belgrae chief urban planner, Marko Stojicic tells Telegraf Biznis about plans for coming years.  From 2021 the construction of the subway will start from Sava Square. Immediately after City Assembly meeting on December 29, expropriation of land will start.
