Penang Government sign as an important milestone agreement towards Three Main Roads and Seabed Tunnel (PMRT)
Penang Government igned additional agreement with Consortium Zenith Construction Sdn Bhd (CZC) for Sub-Project Package. Write Sinar Harian publication. This Package 2 line will connect Thean Teik Highway in Ayer Itam area to Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Highway. Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said the agreement is important 'milestone achievement' for implementation of Three Main Roads and Seabed Tunnel (PMRT) Project.
CZC will start construction work on February 1.
Master Agreement for PMRT project signed on 2 August 2019. 6.5-kilometer tunnel project and the three main roads are one of the projects contained in the PTMP ( Penang Transport Master Plan) with a total value of RM46 billion.
