Mayors of Miami and Fort Lauderdale will soon be visiting the tunnel built by Elon Musk's The Boring Company. Mayors will be visiting the Las Vegas tunnel as well as the test tunnel at The Boring Company's Los Angeles facilities.

Both Miami and Fort Lauderdale are in (early ?) talks with The Boring Company for building tunnels in the respective cities.
