Periódico del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia reports great progress on 3 tunnels which are being built on the La Paz-Caranavi route.

In the Cajones 1 tunnel, shotcrete is being placed in the vault and part of the gables. In the Cajones 2 Tunnel, the placement of the barbican in the vault was concluded and in parallel the draining layer is finished and the geotextile blanket is installed. In the Quenallata tunnel, the leveling of the subgrade and the collection of groundwater from the vault were completed.
