BATCHING PLANT MANAGER position at Femern Belt Link Contractors:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Batching Plant Manager will be responsible for the concrete production related logistic, plant & equipment and fulfilling the project objectives in terms of QHSE, planning, budget & compliance.

MAIN TASKS

    Planning, organizing and documenting maintenance and repairs
    Keeps the communication between the construction sites / casting processes and the Plant operators, pumps, truck mixers, laboratory
    Organizes the shift schedule and personnel requirements
    Follows up the planning of the works together with concrete production team
    Follows up the works and the contacts to the subcontractors
    Ordering the daily material requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum of 10 years experience as a concrete Plant Manager
    Experience in a leading position in Readymix Batching Plant or in a precast concrete Factory
    Professional qualification in concrete technologist, construction industry
    Bachelor's Degree  of Civil/Chemical Engineering or a high education degree from a technical university
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Danish and English
    Demonstrated ability to problem solve and suggest solutions
    Demonstrated ability to create an environment of cooperation, teamwork, and motivation through problem-solving and negotiations
    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities within appropriate time frames
