The key requirements of this role include:
• Understanding Sydney Metro West project requirements.
• Shadowing senior staff members, asking questions, learning, and assisting.
• Conducting research and organising data.
• Observing health and safety regulations always.
• Participating in meetings and attending workshops and other training initiatives.
• Writing reports under senior staff supervision.
• Taking notes and sharing it with relevant stakeholders.
• Establishing professional relationships with colleagues.
• Maintaining a high degree of professionalism and diligence.

Projects/Workload:
• Undertaking basic civil & tunnel engineering activities like desktop basement survey, utilities log preparation, mark-ups/sketches preparation and organising technical data etc.
• Assisting experienced engineers in the preparation of technical advice notice and reports.
• Undertaking basic engineering calculations to support experienced engineers.
• Assisting senior staffs in internal and external interface activities.
• Coordination with draftsmen in the preparation of drawings.
• Assisting in the preparation of project presentations/slides.
• Shadowing tunnel modellers and inherit numerical modelling/analysis techniques.
• Leading digital initiatives for excellence.
• Attending tunnel related training and keep up to date with latest industry knowledge
