A new tunnel planned between Taurito and Mogán in the new GC-500. Provided that environmental and archeological effect assessments come out as positive. 

The road from Taurito to Mogán had been closed since the summer of 2017 due to serious landslides. The chosen solution includes a tunnel to bridge the most dangerous section of the old GC-500 route, writes Canarias 7.
