The extension of Line 2 will add 5,2 kilometers to the route that currently connects the station of La Cisterna with Vespucio Norte station.

The Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, Gloria Hutt said  the project already has 71% physical progress and it will be operational in 2023. This project involves an investment of US $ 409.2 million.
